Optimized Dockerfiles
Multi-stage, non-root, commented Dockerfiles: small images and fast builds.
The problem
A rushed Dockerfile produces images of hundreds of megabytes that are slow to push and deploy, run as root and rebuild everything on every tiny change. These example Dockerfiles for Go and Node/Express use multi-stage builds, a non-privileged user, layer caching and their own .dockerignore, and explain every line so you understand what to change in yours.
What’s included
- go/: multi-architecture distroless Dockerfile
- node-express/: alpine, tini and a healthcheck without curl
- A .dockerignore for each one
